Ad Some Links – Make Some Money – EASY-

text link adsI see a lot of articles telling people how to make money online.  Most of the time they are very generalized – “Make Money Selling Ad Space”, but you don’t know where to go to do this.   There are some really easy ways to make money online.  I’m going to share with you a couple of the sites I make money with every single month.  All I had to do was sign up and add some code to my site.  For the 2 little text link ads I have on the right side of my blog I make about $25 a month.  If you have 2 or 3 blogs you can sign each one up add the code and make money.  Not only does text link ads allow you to make easy money you can also purchase advertising and get your links on tons of relevant sites for a really great price.  Right now they are running a great promotion, Get a starter kit with $100 in free text links.

Another EASY way to earn a constant chunk of change at the beginning of each month?   Adgitize – I kept seeing adgitize advertised all over the place for about 6 months before I finally got smart and signed up.  Not only will you increase the traffic to your blog but you can very easily earn an extra $40 every single month with very little effort.

Ok – so far this is about $75 to $100 paid into my paypal account just for adding some code to my site.  If you don’t sign up for these then maybe you just don’t want or need any extra money (yeah, right).  What you have to remember about a lot of these sites where you can make money for advertising is that you can also use these same sites to advertise your site – building links and traffic everyday.  You can always take the money you earn with these sites and put it back into advertising your site.  This is what I do with the money I earn at CMF Ads – I have around $25 in my account there and I can either request a cashout or buy more advertising with it.

Another way to make money with your blog is to create advertising space that you can sell directly.  Create a new page titled Advertise.  Go to paypal and set-up different buttons for the advertising you will offer (i.e., $30 for a month, $125 for a review, etc.)  Visit my “Advertise” page for an example.  The difference with this advertising is that you have to go out and sell it, (joining forums is a good way) but, you can make a good amount of extra cash this way.  It’s important to have a way that people can purchase advertising directly through your site.  I have been on many sites who have a donate button but don’t have any way to purchase advertising.  Offer something for money, a text link or banner ad – if I want to give money to a site I would rather do it by purchasing advertising from the owner than to just donate money (unless it’s for a specific cause).

When I first started blogging it never occurred to me to use my blog to make money. In fact, I don’t like the blogs that do nothing more than promote products. But, I have joined a few sites (Adgitize, CMF) and these have started to pay.

I like your idea of selling advertising and I think I’ll give it a try by creating an “Advertize” page on my site.

As always, the info you pass along is useful – many thanks!

    Hello Sheila,

i wouldn’t say you can earn automatically 40$ with Adgitize.

Most likely the earnings are in the range of 3 – 6 $/ month if you are not an advertiser. If you decide to advertise for 14$ for an one month ad, you’ll get over 2000 visitors/month. When you reach the TOP 10 of the ADGITIZE Leaderboard (with 400 to 480 points, this will change as there are now 100 points more available since yesterday), your earnings per month can reach around 20$.

This is what i get just from being an active blogger/visitor of other blogs.

The 40$ can only be reached when you get each month 4 new referral who start advertising. In this case you’ll get for each of them 5$ finder fee.

And if you deduct the 14$ for the ad… then you have earned 6$ + over 2000 visitors.

40$ are unusual to reach. Just read the blog posts in Adgitize… usually only 2 of over 100 persons reach this amount, most persons are between 10 and 20$!

    Biggest EC-Contest starts soon,

Thanks for your break-down. Maybe I should have said “with a little bit of effort” instead of “very easily”. My whole point is to get people to stop reading about how to make money and to actually sign up for something and do it.

For once the title image isn’t that hot. Smudged and blurry, in fact.

I’m a big fan of adgitize, but I don’t consider it a big money-maker. I see it more of a good advertising system that allows you to earn back some of what you spend.

These are some solid suggestions for advertising! I have used TLA for publishers but not as an advertiser. With the $100 special, I think I’m in!

Then, how about buy an advertisement on my poor blog? Do you wanna take a -ehm- charity for me, don’t you? ;)

I was using TLA, but their widget stopped working and they didn’t help me (but boy did they give me a bunch of suggestions that did absolutely NOTHING to help), so I stopped using them.

I switched to my own ad server that can run on any site. It’s called OIO Publisher and it’s super-easy to set up, especially if you’re running WordPress.

Best part: It’s a one-time fee (well under $100) and they take no cut of the ad dollars you earn.
