Great tips. The easiest one to follow is spell check, and to accompany that should be “re-read your post before clicking the publish button”. Spell check can find misspelled words, but there’s no substitute for simply re-reading your content.

I concur with what you say. I read a lot of blogs while dropping EC and I notice when content changes, and cool blogs make me stop and visit a little longer!

Sometimes, after an article starts getting stale, I rewrite it to improve content and SEO. This seems to work pretty well.

One thing I’ve learned though, be very careful when you rewrite to make sure you don’t change the URL. If you do, you’ll need to redirect your blog to the new link.

I totally agree about spell-checking. Nothing is more frustrating than reading an article and finding a really goofy typo.
