Atokens – A New Virtual Currency

I have used and enjoyed sites similar to Atokens before, but I have never seen a site with so much to offer. Not only can you earn tokens by completing tasks like joining sites and signing up for services like you can on other sites like Treasure Trooper and Inbox dollars but the BEST part is you also become part of a community. You can sell services like advertising and reviews for tokens or pay another blogger tokens for the same.

My favorite part is you get to exchange the tokens you earn for CASH!

What is aTokens.com? Atokens is a “social currency” site. Instead of using cash (real money), users

can send and accept payment using our virtual currency (appreciation tokens). Our platform opens up new opportunities for our users because now, they can earn and spend on the web. There are no transactions or service fees. Our services are completely free. Atokens‘ Vision – To faciliate safe instant payments between individuals and online businesses using our virtual currency.

Tokens can be purchased or you can earn free tokens by participating in surveys, trial subscriptions,

brand engagement activities, and more.

Tokens can be traded with other members in the aTokens.com network for services, products, favors, etc.. You can spend your tokens in our store, get cash rebate, donate them, play games, and participate in contests.

Blogging is about connecting with readers. Atokens can help bloggers connect with their readers by adding incentives for participation on their blog. You can offer tokens to your reader for blog comments,

feedback, joining your newsletter, twitter follower, etc..

I couldn’t find mention of how much cash tokens can be exchanged for. Any idea?

If you don’t plan to cash-out then I suppose there’s an advantage over PayPal (no fees), but otherwise I still don’t get it! :-)

John – if you log into Atokens and click on “spend” along the top menu bar you’ll see the different amounts/things you can cash your tokens in for.

    120 tokens $5
    220 tokens $10
    420 tokens $20
    920 tokens $50

Aloha i’m fresh here. I stumbled upon this website I have found It quite helpful and it’s helped me so much. I hope to give something back and support other people like it has helped me.

    Thank You, See You About.

Thanks Sheila. I guess I ought to take another look, but I can’t sign in or recover my password :-( I’ve contacted support to see if they can help.

TOO AWESOME! I can’t even begin. Basically you’re sending virtual currency that’s worth money to others with no transaction fees. Powerful microtransactions. This was always PayPal’s downfall. Someone could not buy multiple little virtual items without racking up huge fees. Well looks like a company is willing to step up and make this reality. Since aTokens is a suggested donation only, that may not be what some people are looking for. So I set up a place to offer secure aToken services, check out http://virtualfaqs.com/forum

I created an account in atokens but did not open it frequently. I don’t understand the process. Thank you for sharing and posting. :) Now, I’ll find time to log on atokens.

I’d never heard of this before so I will have to check it out. Still not sure what I would use it for but I suppose I will have a better idea when I get there. I know, it’s a lame comment but at least I didn’t ask you to come to my site and give back and support me. I need coffee.

Thank You once again for a good article. I have Atokens account but have to admit I have been slacking on going online with them. Guess I will have to make a little time.

Jen – It’s not lame, I’ll take any comment I can get (almost)

Lisa – Hope you make some money!

Russ – It’s a little slow to get started, but I’ve worked these types of programs before and made money. This could be much better since you can also sell your services and not just fill out surveys and such.

Just a tip for you there, admin. If you were smart you would paste an affiliate link to atokens.com. This way whoever signed up you would have received a token for that.

Yes, and it is possible to make money with blogs. There are a lot of good autopost tools. But but never forget that you should mix with unique content which is essential.

I am not sure how to find other websites with aTokens listed on them. I see the Leader on the aTokens website.. but it only lists 10. And the search feature is very, very poor. How do I find other dog lovers who I can talk to who have aTokens? Hrm.

These things in my opinion are too time consuming for little reward but people still flock to these sort of sites so it must be suitable for certain people.
