I’ve made posts about social bookmarking sites in the past and provided links to many of these, but I never trtuly understood the power of these sites until I started using Blog Catalog and Entrecard in the past couple weeks.  Now I’ve become addicted.  These sites are so viral – once you get beyond just signing up and actually start using the sites as they were meant to be used, the hits come rolling in – it’s really exciting.  I’m not going to give you any lists in this post, just some advice, choose a couple of the more popular social networking sites and work them until the visitors start to pour in.  Try to stick to just a couple to begin, it is really easy to keep signing up for lots of different social bookmarking sites, then you never really use one to it’s full advantage.  If you are having a hard time grasping the concept of social bookmarking, here is an awesome video to help you understand.
