I have the same problem, with my sites… i think articles is the way to go, when i’ve submitted some articles i had a few links and the pr went up…

I don’t think the way Google chooses page rank makes any sense. They jerk you around to screw with the spammers.

I still see a PR0. clearly you got slapped. My blog was punished for the longest time after an Adwords dispute. They finally declared an amnesty and my pr shot up from 3 to 4, and has been bouncing back and forth ever since.

What I did to try and improve my standing was to no-follow any link that was remotely spammy. Add a sitemap, a privacy policy, an about page, and contacted Google through their tools website saying I had taken the above actions and was there anything else I could do to improve my standing. They never responded, but I haven’t been pagerank slapped since then either.

Hopefully now you have seen some of your page rank come back. I personally have been struggling with getting page rank to my sites. It seems like I work my a** off and still have not reaped the rewards; hopefully my day is coming soon.
